We live in an increasingly surreal everyday life, where the power struggle between the world's leading leaders is becoming more and more grotesque and takes place in the form of offensive Twitter posts and campaigns supported by anonymous billionaires.
Shadow Government is trying to balance the negative influence of the abusers of power in our world through musical missions, that is - to spread the message that our individual voices have a greater significance than we think.
Their exceptional interplay goes all the way, keeping the audience guessing where the musical narrative might end up.
The trio consists of Carsten Kær (piano), Matias Fischer (drums) and Mads Houe (bass). All three of whom are hyperactive musicians from the North Jutland music scene. They have a great common urge to shake the music genre bag and experiment with music styles ranging from South America to Armenia. That is why threads spring up in their music for e.g. Brazilian samba, Armenian folk music and modern jazz from New York.
